Do you just do weddings?Kirsty specialises in only weddings. Although she is a fully trained hairdresser, her passion is brides only and with high demand for her styles has head hunted Cara Louise who has been trained by Kirsty herself. Cara has a natural flare for wedding hair but also works within Kirsty's salon Novia on a Friday and Saturday Colouring, Cutting and doing all other things hair! A perfect combo for those pre wedding roots.

Final BalanceFULL PAYMENT is due 1 week before and paid via the online invoicing portal. Invoices will be generated at your trial and can be paid before the due date, if desired.

Can I add more people to my booking?More people can be added up until your trial. If your booking is more than 6 people and extra hairstylist is required and advise numbers greater than 6 to be confirmed ASAP.

Cancelling my bookingWe understand people circumstances change. Deposits are non refundable or transferable to other services. Full cancellation up to a month before will result in a £100 fee.

Can I remove people from my booking?At your trial final numbers must be confirmed. Deducting numbers after this will be charged at £20pp.

How many styles can I trial?2 Styles per trial session.

Where will my trial be held?Trials will be held from Wedding Hair By Kirsty / Novia, Colour and Wedding Hair Specialists located at 33 - 35 St Thomas Street Scarborough. There is 2 pink doors. Please use the entrance to Novia. There is a car park directly behind. Unfortunately it is not free but can be paid for by cash, card or the RingGo app.

Do you offer trials on weekends?No. Unfortunately due to these been key wedding days we do not book trials in on a weekend.

Do I need to have a bridal trial?Yes. All bookings require the Bride to attend a trial. These are something we strongly recommend and the cost of this is covered in your package. Even though we do a lot of weddings it can still be overwhelming to us walking into a room full of people we don't know. It's always nice for us to meet who we will be working with before the big day. Trials are also for us to learn about your hair too, making sure we provide you with the best hair.

Can I book more than one trial?If after your first trial you are still unsure about what style you are wanting on the day, Yes another trial can be booked.

How long will my trial last?Trials vary on the wedding hair stylist. Times will be confirmed with the stylist at time of booking.

When's best to wash my hair?For the whole wedding party, we recommend you wash your hair the day before, not on the day of the trial/wedding. Smooth your hair over by blow drying or straightening, if needed. Leave your hair product free.

Do I need to bring anything to my trial?Come prepared with a couple of images that you like, we can trial up to 2 styles depending on the styles. If you have already bought accessories or hair extensions for your hair, bring them along too.

Do I need hair extensions or accessories?We can find you the perfect hair accessories to go with your wedding day hair. Lots of beautiful pieces to try and purchase at your trial. Needing a little more hair for your desired look? Clip in hair extensions are a perfect addition for brides needing a little more hair. We can help by matching your hair colour and placing an order for the correct amount you need.

What should I wear to my trial?We advise you wear a white top either a strap top or one the same shape as your dress line so you can get a better idea for the overall look.

Do my bridesmaids need a trial?No. These are not mandatory and we can work from photo ideas on the day. Trials for other bridal party members can be added on for an extra cost.

Can I bring someone to my trial?Yes. However we do not have the space for large parties. We advise keeping this to 2 people max.

When's best to book my trial?Trials are bookable only when asked to do so by your stylist. We will drop you an email when it’s time to book. We do not offer trials any earlier than the below. January & February Bride. Trials between October - December. March & April Bride. Trials between December - February. May & June Bride. Trials between February - April. July & August Bride. Trials between April - June. September & October Bride. Trials between June - July. November & December Bride. Trials between September - November.

What time will you arrive on the wedding day?We arrange our time of arrival at the trial. Times are tailored for the size of your party.

Will you do a wedding morning schedule?We aim to have the bridal party ready 1.5 hours before the ceremony time. Please make sure everyone is at the venue at the arrange time of our arrival. Hair times vary are over estimated making sure we have enough time needed. Bums on seats is our moto, this hasn't failed us yet. Your makeup artist may have sent a schedule, we are happy to work around this.

What should the bridal party wear on the wedding morning?We love matching PJs, if this isn't your wedding morning vibe, please make sure everyone has a low neckline top, no hoodies. The top needs to be able to come of without touching the hair, button up fronts work well.

How many peoples hairs can you style?We have a maximum of 6 heads including the bride on the wedding morning. This is so we can enjoy your morning just as much as you. It is a big day after all and we want it to be perfect. More than 6 people will require an extra stylist, which we will arrange for you.

Travel (On the Wedding Day)The cost of travel is covered by the bride. Travel is charged at 50p a mile from Wedding Hair By Kirsty’s postcode, YO11 1DY, this may change with the rising fuel costs. Parking costs are chargeable to the bride.

Do I need anything for the wedding morning?If you have purchased these, you need to provide hair accessories for you and your bridesmaids (tiara/veil/diamante clips etc.) We bring everything else we need; all we ask for is that you prepare an area with a low back stool type chair, plug sockets and a work top or table near by for us to place equipment on. We need everyone that I am styling hair for to be ready with DRY hair for when I arrive .
